Trachy Fortunei

Any species of Trachycarpus are native to high mountainous areas in Asia where they experience very cold weather. Because of this, some have remarkable cold tolerance and can be grown in areas where one sees temperatures well below freezing. It is also common to see photographs of Trachycarpus plants covered in snow.
